Beyond Riviera's flagship is a 33-metre gulet berthed at Saranda, broad-beamed and unhurried, with seven en-suite cabins for fourteen guests and a full crew including a chef who provisions from the Saranda morning market. She is built for the long, shaded lunch at anchor rather than for pace, which suits the Albanian Riviera perfectly: short hops between deep, sheltered bays where a boat this size lies to a stern-line off a rock and lets guests swim straight off the bathing platform. A typical day runs south to the Ksamil islets and the pale shallows off the Butrint lagoon mouth, or north-west to the near-landlocked pool at Porto Palermo beneath Ali Pasha's fortress. Over a week she works the whole corridor — the Albanian coast one way, a strait crossing to Corfu's north-east coves and Paxos the other — never needing more than a few hours under way between anchorages.

Aboard

Seven en-suite cabins across the lower deck sleep fourteen, with the crew quartered forward so guest space stays private. The main deck carries a shaded aft dining saloon and a foredeck of sunpads; meals are cooked aboard by the chef, who shops the Saranda market for the day's fish and produce.

A tender, paddleboards and snorkelling kit come as standard for reaching the Ksamil sandbars and the Paxos blue caves, which the gulet herself is too deep to enter.

Where she sails

Her home water is the stretch of Albanian coast either side of Saranda — Kakome Bay a few miles south, the four Ksamil islets ~8 nm on toward Butrint, and Porto Palermo's protected harbour ~15 nm up the coast to the north-west, where the water stays 30 m deep almost to the old fish quay.

The strait to Corfu is only ~12–15 nm, so a day across to Kalami, Kouloura or Kassiopi is straightforward, as is a longer leg down to Paxos and Antipaxos.

A week aboard

A week usually alternates coast and islands: a night at Porto Palermo under the fortress, a slow day among the Ksamil shoals, then a morning-calm crossing to Corfu's north-east coast for Agni and Kalami, and south to Gaios and the Antipaxos coves at Vrika and Voutoumi.

Because she is crewed and provisioned, the plan bends to the wind and to guests — the crew reads the afternoon maestro and moves in the morning calm, saving the swimming for the sheltered afternoons.

Frequently asked questions

From Saranda, comfortably south to Kakome Bay, the Ksamil islets and the Butrint lagoon mouth, or north-west to Porto Palermo — none more than a couple of hours under way, leaving the day for swimming and lunch at anchor.

Yes. The strait is ~12–15 nm and the crossing takes a couple of hours; she runs day-trips and multi-day cruises to Corfu's north-east coves (Kalami, Kouloura, Agni) and on to Paxos.

Both. She takes day groups out of Saranda and also runs full week-long crewed cruises with cabins made up for fourteen.

Fully — captain, deckhands and a chef who provisions and cooks aboard. She is not available bareboat.

May to October. July–August are warmest and busiest; June and September give quieter anchorages and the same reliable afternoon maestro.
