FAQ

The corridor, in practice

The fast ferry crosses the strait between Saranda and Corfu Town in about 30 minutes; slower ferries take around 70 minutes. In season we also arrange private boat crossings, which let you land closer to your villa and skip the port queues. Only two nautical miles separate the two shores at the narrowest point.

June and September are the sweet spot on both shores: warm sea, open restaurants and beach clubs, and space on the water. July and August bring the highest temperatures and the biggest crowds, especially in Ksamil and on Corfu's northeast coast. May and October suit travellers who prioritise walking, culture and quiet over swimming.

Send an enquiry through our concierge page with your dates, group size and preferred shore — Albanian Riviera, Corfu, or undecided. We reply within the day with a shortlist of villas that actually fit, then handle the booking, transfers and any on-the-ground arrangements directly with you. We never publish firm prices online; every stay is quoted individually.

It is becoming one, fast. The coastline between Palasë and Ksamil has Europe's clearest new waters, a first wave of designer villas and beach clubs, and prices still well below Greece or Italy. The polish is uneven — that is exactly why curation matters, and why we only list addresses we know first-hand.

Yes — that is our signature. A typical corridor itinerary pairs a villa week on one shore with day crossings to the other: Corfu's Venetian old town and northeast coves from Saranda, or Butrint, Gjipe and the Ksamil islets from Corfu. One concierge coordinates boats, drivers and tables on both sides of the strait.

Albania and Greece are separate jurisdictions — Greece is in the EU and Schengen, Albania is not. EU, UK, US and most GCC passport holders cross with a passport and no visa for short stays in both directions. Bring your passport for every crossing, including day trips; we brief every guest on the current formalities before travel.

FAQ

The house, how it works

No. The first shortlist and all planning conversations are free. Beyond Riviera is remunerated by its partners on confirmed villa and yacht bookings — never by adding a margin you cannot see, and never by charging the traveller a service fee.

Because honest pricing on this coast depends on dates, group size and season, and because we only publish figures we can guarantee. Every enquiry gets a precise, all-inclusive quote for your specific dates within the day.

English and French, both in writing and on WhatsApp. On the ground, our partners operate in Albanian, Greek, English and Italian — we handle the translation whenever it matters.

Today, yes — that corridor is where we can vouch for every address personally. Further shores are in preparation; the model stays the same: visited addresses, a short collection, one concierge.
