July and August bring the highest temperatures and the biggest crowds, especially in Ksamil and on Corfu's northeast coast. Albania and Greece are separate jurisdictions — Greece is in the EU and Schengen, Albania is not. EU, UK, US and most GCC passport holders cross with a passport and no visa for short stays in both directions. Bring your passport for every crossing, including day trips; we brief every guest on the current formalities before travel.
