Enquire with our conciergeDhërmi is where the Albanian riviera earns its name: a white-stone village pinned to the flank of the Ceraunian mountains, above a run of beaches and beach clubs that now draws Europe's sharpest summer crowd. Villa Drymades Ridge sits on the line between the two worlds — the old village above, Drymades' sands below.
Built in local stone around a panoramic pool terrace, the villa reads as old-village architecture from outside and resolutely contemporary within. Five en-suite bedrooms, a double-height living room and an outdoor table for twelve make it a natural house for two families or a group of friends.
The drop of the mountains straight into the Ionian gives every terrace the same widescreen view: sea to the horizon, Corfu a shadow to the south on clear days.
Mornings belong to the water — Drymades and Dhërmi beach are minutes downhill, and hidden coves like Gjipe are a short boat hop away. Afternoons drift between the pool and the village lanes of old Dhërmi, whose chapels and stone houses predate any notion of a riviera.
By night the beach clubs light up along the shore. Our concierge holds tables at the best of them — and can arrange a private boat day south to Himarë and Porto Palermo, the most cinematic stretch of coast in the country.
Villas, yachts, tables and crossings between Albania and Corfu — one point of contact, same-day reply.
